need help with sound lag please.

hello guys i have this problem when i click the sound icon in the taskbar all the time i has to think abouit it mostly for a couple of seconds but some times up to a min or longer of it seems to appear on the screen and then disappear of lag on the screen i dont think it is a driver issue i have tried multiple drivers to no avail i have done system maintance tried everything i can think of will it come down to me re installing windows? i have done start up repair and still no go?

instaed i did a clean install and it still happens could this be a bug i windows?

What other software are you running?

Virus, malware protection... any peer to peer stuff?
