Solved Windows Photo Viewer has weird Colors

Hey guys.. I had this problem before and someone here helped me fix it very quick and easy and I completely don't remember how we did.

When I open a photo or any picture for that matter on my PC with Windows Photo Viewer (default program) there's a Yellowish Green color around it.. Like it's not white around it.. Like the photo viewer's colors are all weird.. but if I open a photo or something with Nero Photo viewer or Anything else then the background is white and the photo's look much better.

I think it was some sort of Windows 7 Adobe RGB or something profile somewhere. it was a simple fix but I don't remember how we did it.

Possible Solution:

Check if the color management settings are correct.

1. Click Start, type Color Management in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
2. In the Color Management dialog box, click to select the Use my settings for this device check box.
3. In the Profiles associated with this device list, click the color profile that you want to remove, and then click Remove.
Note If you receive a warning message, click Yes.
4. Click Close to close the Color Management dialog box.
5. Restart the computer.
Open an image in Windows Live Photo Gallery to verify that the issue is resolved.

Note: The color profiles that nees to be ICC or WCS color profiles that are been associated with all display devices or monitors. Else, you can also try to change the default color profile for your system’s monitor to sRGB IEC61966-2.1, simply by clicking on Add, and then select sRGB IEC61966-2.1 from the list of profiles installed on system
. After adding, click Set as Default Profile button.

My monitor colors are fine.. but for some reason Windows Photo Viewer is all messed up, but if I open a photo with any other program the colors are fine.. idea's.

i think that was it.. I'll try that now. but lasts time I didn't check the Use my settings box, instead I changed it, but I don't remember what to

lol.. i tried to search but didn't find that. haha ur good.

thanks!.. that is what did it.. it was there but the default U2410 was in the way, so i deleted it and now I'm good.

An image and its background become yellow in Windows Photo Gallery in Windows Vista

My windows photo gallery had been working fine. But lately a black green screen present and no indication of what's the matter. Just came through your post and hope it can work.
