Hi, I'm so annoyed with Office 2010's stupid splash screen which comes up every time you open a Word, PowerPoint, and Excel file. It seems to add like 1 second to the opening time of the file. It is getting so annoying that I'm considering switching to Office 2007 for good.

How can Microsoft make an Office suite which opens files slower than the previous version?

WOW! and I thought I was impatient. I get the splash screen in 2007 as well but it's gone in a flash.

Lol its just that when I've paid £700 for a laptop and with Office 2007 installed opening files is very quick. So as you can imagine, Office 2010 comes along and opens files slower than in the older version! I'm surprised there's not more people complaining about this! That leaves me with the question: is it just me? lol :p
