Nice... I should be so lucky...

My only suggestion is that you should probably go with a Western Digital HDD... I find the Seagates are rather noisey and I've had reliability problems with them as well. WD has never let me down yet. A little more than 80gb might also be a good idea... they fill up pretty fast these days.

It was the cheapest hard drives. My dad only has like 5GB of music that he doesn't want to extend too much, about 1GB of "jokes" he receive by e-mail... he really doesn't need much so that's why I don't buy anything bigger. Reliability-wise, you're right but if it fails, it's not a big deal... it was cheap and you can easily change it.

Go for it. . .it doesn't do the job then what will. Should be one Hell of system. . .

It's where you interact with the computer.
Could you not get a larger screen?
I suppose it would have to come from a saving elsewhere which would be a pity as everything looks good and tight.

I would recommend an amd processor and motherboard because of the higher performance/price ratio that amd offers, the amd athlon II x4 620 paired with a 785g motherboard should be cheaper than any intel offering while providing better performance

Nah. He wanted a computer like the one he has already (the current one goes to my bro) and it has a Core 2 Dup E6700 in... And, I'm an Intel fanboy... also... won't rebuild the whole thing for the AMD CPU.

So, he's accustomed with a fast OS drive. So, he wanted something fast and he also like new technologies... so. SSD all the way.
