my windows 7 DVD-cd not booting to install !!??

hi guys

I have burn windows 7 ultimate on DVD-cd and I change all the setting in the BOIS
the first boot from the DVD-cd and every thing is set to be able to boot

but it's not boot and not start the install

please some one can help me????

I have motherboard ASUS P7P55D

What happens when you try to boot? Try manually booting from the DVD, through use of the popup boot menu. Usually F11 or F12 during the POST.

Are you trying to install the 64 or 32 bit Windows 7? If you are trying to install the 32 bit version, you can boot up to XP, then run the setup.exe file found on the install disc.

Make sure you setup your burn to make the iso bin bootable from the DVD... GL

Where did your windows 7 come from and what format was it when you burned it to the dvd?

that is my problem! I can't see this menu where it says press esc or whatever to boot from dvd

the dvd is bootable because there is a boot directory in the installtion folder also it opens up when I insert it while I'm at windows.
I'm trying to install 64 bit version of windows 7 ultimate so I can't upgrade from my xp 32 bit

how so? I have the boot folder inside my installtion. is there any more deatiled information about this matter? I will much apprecaite it.

it was iso.

edit: it dose not boot at another computer so it seems the problem from the dvd itself.
can any one direct me to make it bootable?

Extract the win7 dvd's contents to a folder on a partition on which you are NOT going to install win7. You can simply copy in windows explorer by browsing the dvd.

Go to the folder where you extracted the dvd's contents and run Setup.exe.

After install is complete, delete windows.old (This is the windows folder of your xp install which is no longer needed).

Burn the ISO to DVD using ImgBurn at 4x speed with Verify - it never fails.

If this does not boot, then it is the ISO which needs to be redownloaded then have its HASH and SHA-1 verified from official release: Windows 7 RTM SHA-1 hash / checksums

Where did you get the ISO?
