Yes you can run both. If you ever have a doubt about a game just go here and check yourself (if it is listed). It will give you minimum and recommended specs.

Both games run fine on my old clunker. You shouldn't have any problem playing them.
(cod4 is WAY better than MW2, imo.)

you can always download the demo of CoD4:MW and that should give you a good idea of how it will run on your system if you still have any doubts on how the game will perform before you lay down some cash

looking at your specs both games should run fine imho
