New build, 1600 RAM running at 1066, how do I change settings?

I hope someone can help me change the BIOS settings for my new build, see specs below, ASUS P6X58D-E X58 motherboard, triple channel A-DATA Gaming Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600.

Please give specific instructions as I am not familiar with changing setting in BIOS.

From the first startup the RAM running at 1066 MHz, I would like to get it set to 1600 MHz, the manufacturers recommended settings.

It's been suggested to change the DRAM multiplier to 12.
Can anyone confirm this and tell me the steps required to do it?

Not quite sure how its worded on an Asus board, and on a secondary note, you have an Intel board, but you should have a setting in your bios for the ram call EPP: Extended Performance Profiles. When you enable the EPP and set the ram speed, to the appropriate speed, the board should automatically set it to the correct speed.

So, I'm guessing that with your board, you'd enable the EPP and set the ram to 800. If you have different levels of EPP, ex. EPP1, EPP2, etc. then set it to one, save your settings, reboot back into bios and check to see the speed. If needed, repeat the steps until your board sees the correct ram speed.

Thanks for your suggestions, however, there is no EPP in my BIOS.
I have solved it though.
As you can see, the screenshots of CPU Z are showing the correct settings!!
Except for the voltage which should be between 1.65-1.85.

Check in your BIOS for DRAM voltage or similar.
It's a good idea to know if your CPU has the voltage bumped up, as well.

Check the CPUZ CPU tab for 'Core Voltage'.

Now download, burn, and run Memtest86+. Let it run at least 5 passes, although it's likely any errors would show on 1st pass.

There is no multiplier.
You have to turn on D.O.C.P, then adjust the CPU multiplier to it's default 21 (it was set to 19) then adjust the BCLK until both CPU and RAM are at the correct settings.
I also adjusted the CR to spec 1T.
The DRAM Bus Voltage was set to 2.0 and highlighted in red I adjusted the figure until it went blue ie 1.64.
The spec for my RAM say's 1.65-1.85.

We have been through all the basics on another thread with this issue, all warnings and disclaimers have been noted and given to xXSevenXx, as well as links to info and more information.

His RAM was running at 1066, some basic OC steps were learned and used to get it to 1600.
