Video files joiner software (any formats)

Hi.
I formated my PC last night and I re-installed my software. Usually, I was using "Media Coder 0.6.1" to have the hability to join videos. Unfortunately, there were a lot more new features that improves considerably the time of conversion in the latest release. So, I would to know if there are any alternative that joins any kind of video altogether; not only .avi files (*point to a certain program*).

If you are joining videos that have the same attirbutes (resolution, etc...), then the process is very quick and there is no conversion done. I would recommend Avidemux for this purpose (works not only for avi, but also for other formats).
Otherwise, the joining would require also video conversion, which can be time consuming, and result in lower quality videos.

Thx for the suggestions guys. I habitually like the MP4 format for high resolutions and AVI for lower ones or even MKV if I have multiple audio and video...

@usta & PoomanUK : Do I need to install codecs for it to work? If yes, I'm not gonna use those... I DON'T want to install crap that are codecs...

This free tool does not require any technical experience and is very easy to use, you just need click "Add" button to add your video files in same or different formats, then click "Join" button, you will get one single file of these video files. Free Video Joiner includes all video encoders and decoders; it can be used as AVI Joiner, MPEG Joiner, WMV Joiner, RM Joiner, MP4 Joiner and Movie Joiner.

Avidemux has a built-in library of codecs, so you don't need to install anything.
