Updates to Half-life 2 series

Sometime around the 26th of May 2010, STEAM did some major updates to Half-Life 2 (HL2), HL2 – Episode One, HL2 – Episode Two. Updates include….


Aside from the mods issue, I would urge those that haven't played the game in a while to check it out. You might be surprised.

installing now ..............im blaming you if its as poo as it was last time i reinstalled it

edit........cant find the disk i think its in the loft............steam seems to be letting me download it as its in my games list ./................. as is modern warfare 2 BUT i wont be going there again

Yea it's in Half-Life 2 at Nova Prospekt. Just been through there. It is quite a hard part.

I'm about 7 achievements away from doing all of them in HL2

I remember getting 91 of the 99 on the Orange Box for 360... So many hours spent on that. Good times.

There's only 31 on the PC version

Or is that 99 for all of the Orange Box?

Thanks. Yeah I thought it was Nova Prospekt.

At any rate the hardest achievement i've yet to achieve is saving all the buildings at the end in HL2-EP2. LOL I can't even save one

Oh, the 360 has all the Orange Box achievements under one title.

Was there an update for it yesterday? I just went back to playing the game all over again.

Yes there was another update...

14 Jun - Portal / Half Life 2 / Episode 1 / Episode 2 - Update via Steam. Updates are automatic so there's nothing to do on your part other than restart steam.
