Here's mine

Just made a new build, not really done any tweaking or overclocking (yet):

NOW... On the subject of getting that Hard Drive up above 5.9 it's clear I'll need an SSD. Unfortunately that's totally out of the question budget wise...

However!

Seagate Momentus XT Hybrid Platter/SSD - Bjorn3D.com

If you notice their note on the third paragraph of that page, the Seagate Momentus XT 500GB 7200RPM 2.5" drive gets a 7.3 on the WEI - same as a Corsair P128 SSD.

I think we're getting to see a much cheaper way into 7+ WEI scores without having to resort to an SSD. I will be adding a Momentus XT to my wishlist (and another for some RAID 0 possibly)

Thanks for the welcome :)

What do you mean re: Wouldn't hold my breath? The Momentus XT are available retail now and have yielded a 7.3 in the WEI according to Bjorn 3D.

Anyway I've tried OCing my 1055T and he's totally happy at 3570MHz (255MHz HT, 1.375vCore 1.165 vNB) but won't run at 260MHz HT.

BIOS shows a "Maximum vCore" of 1.375 and if I set it to 1.3825 the CPU ends up with 1.335...

Well I've got a 7.6 on the CPU and 7.6 on the RAM so I'm happy for now, let's see if I can oc the Graphics cards a tadge :)

Would definitely wait until we can see confirmation of performance, benchmarks and the WEI.

Would be surprised to see this get a 7.3, my guess is around low to mid 6.

This is a great new product and an improvement over HDDs, in fact I will likely get one when the need arises.

You just said a mouthful. I'm certain I could have put Windows 7 on my old PC and have had it work great. But I didn't get a new PC to get Windows 7, I wanted a new PC, and Windows 7 seemed a no brainer. Not had any reason to doubt that yet.
