I need TV Card Drivers for Windows Seven

anyone know TV card drivers for windows seven I have La Conte TV Capture but my drivers not working on windows s7een anyone can help to me?

Well I'm sort of glad to finally have company in that area in a way. I'm presently using the original XP driver to get the tuner card here working correctly on 7!

Ater fighting for 2yrs. with the Vista driver on Vista and then on the 7000 build to get further then the picture and sound only the latest effort said forget the Vista driver entirely! For help with that card however you usually have to know the exact make and model number as well in order to find the latest at the manufacturer's support site.

You should see the latest come up in the Windows updates under optional hardwares if the one presently on isn't the newest one avialable. That will be a Vista not 7 driver there however. Once 7 is out then you may see some for 7 after that time has come and past.

I use a HVR1800 by Hauppauge runs fine with Windows 7 drivers .

If the model card you have came out before Vista was released like the one here was for XP MCE 2005 you can run into some problems getting the display portion and certainly the video recording part to work even on Vista. You may end removing and reinstalling a few time until the software side takes hold and suddenly all is well.

With newer models seen after Vista's release the 7 drivers should go right on without any difficulty for the most part. Here it was more of getting the original XP application part working while still seeing some problems with both the XP and Vista updates alike.

The only references to that brand of tv capture are not in English as you can see from the live search at the link here. La Conte TV Capture - Live Search

You will have to go to the manufacturer's own support site as mentioned before to look for any 7 beta or recent Vista updates. Another thing that would help here would be the model number as well as type of tv tuner/capture device you are using there. Is it pci or usb?

Did the card come with an installation CD? If so open the contents and look for the help file. That should steer you to a place to contact for drivers etc.

Adddendum: They appear to be made by Kont in Turkey which has an Englsih speaking site here: http://www.kont.com.tr/en/index.asp
I suggest you contact them.

The two main brand names for the tv tuner cards they carry are seen at Kont Biliþim Teknolojileri ve Dýþ Ticaret A.Þ.

Since the remaining pages are not in English you will have to go from there to see there's an online support page for updates or at another site maybe through one of the vendors. On 7 here the right click on the installer if problems are seen for that or a right click on the application's executable file and selection of XP SP2 or Vista sees the tuner card working well in 7 here.

When right clicking on the main exe file if already installed you have two options one being the troubleshoot compatibility or opening the compatibility tab and checking off the older version as well as the "run as administrator" boxes seen there.

I tried all but didnt work may I need some files addd to my windows folder before installing TV card driver . it shouldnt be hard What drivers I need . anyone dont know . just I need a true driver. but where is it who knows that?

First you have to know the model as well as the make of card to run a search for drivers either at the support site or by a web search since only so much seen at the manufacturer's pages there was in English. I couldn't find a support page listings different models to see if there any downloads available and would advise that you take Ex_Brit's advice earlier of contacting the support staff by email or filing a support request on this. They should be able to point you to a download page for any updates available.

Also JasonTr it will help if you would go to your user cp and fill out your system specs. As well as pull the tv card out and get as much information off the card as well, even the chip manufaturer cpuld be a bt88 chip or a connectant. If so maybe abother card using the sane chip driver would work.

Found this link in english for several differnt LA conta tv tuner cards and programs with discriptions of what the different cards pcb board colors are to help figure out which one you have . But this card is 5 years old and doubt 7 will support it with out clicking compatibility mode when installing it. Hope this will help Google Translate

Well that's the problem when pointing at a file sharing site where you first have to log in which won't work for you when someone else posts it. If that's the same model you posted the new link for forget trying to locate any Vista updates for it! A much newer card seeing the necessary Vista drivers and appication will be needed.

I think a great number of people are finding out that their cards simply won't work on Vista or 7 simply from everything having been geared for XP. For the tuner card used here it took a full 2yrs. to see the update for the application despite having the tuner driver alone available back in 2007.

The manufacturer there at least and finally saw the Vista updates available while other companies are still mainly glued to XP. Hopefully you'll start seeing some new models once 7 is out!
