Bootable USB

I know this isnt the right forum to ask this on but this is one of the only computer forums that i know and you helped me out with my previous question :) So lets give it a try.

Well basically i downloaded a Disk Image File and i need to burn it to install the program but i don't have a DVD of 3GB but i have a USB of 4GB so i was wondering if it is possible to either burn it to my USB some how or even make a bootable ISO to the desktop

Doesnt work :(

I tried the program but it says its not a ISO File and i also tried the manual way and it doesnt work either.

As mentioned before i torrented the program then it gave me a Disk Image File.

When opened it wants to burn to a blank CD (one in the tray but to small).

Is there any possible other way to make it a bootable program without a CD?

The only thing that needs to be bootable is the OS. If it is Windows, you can get a tool from Microsoft to make a bootable flash drive. If it is another OS, I'm not sure.

If it is a program disc, you might be able to just copy the contents to the flash drive.

It would help if you told us exactly what type of disc it is.
