ATI Radeon 3650 HD AGP

I downloaded it here: FN4.Ru - | Раздел Системные платы драйверы | Драйвер для ATI Technology Radeon IXP150/IXP200/IXP250/IXP300/XPRESS 200/XPRESS 200/XPRESS 1150 South Bridge free download
It starts setup and tries to find south bridge. But it shows the error "setup was unable to complete the installation. Try to reboot system before running setup". It is the same after reboot.

Unfortunately, I can't check on that because I only can understand English.
What you can do is upload it to Rapidshare and post here with a link to it.

I want to see if I can get it to install for you and if it's for Vista. If I can, I'll give you directions on what to do.

First, extract the install file to C:\ATI

Then in device manager - If you know which is your CPU to AGP controller in the device manager, right click on it and then click update driver software. Then click Browse my computer. Let me pick from a list. Have disk. Browse.

Now navigate to C:\ATI\SUPPORT\7-4_xp32-64_sb_44981\SMBUS and double click on

SMBUSati.inf

Hit ok and let it install.

If that installs well and there are no errors in the device manager, let me know.

If you don't know which is the CPU to AGP controller in system devices in the device manager, take a screenshot of that section and attach to a post.

Well I dont know of the others but if you want the complete good 7 experience you should go for PCI express and dual\quad core.

I got a new PC ( look at my system at mah profile) and Windows 7 works sooo great on it :D

Hi, I have different problem with this type of card (asus ah3650 agp exactly). All installations goes correctly and I can run aero but after few minutes strange marks appears at title bars (I attached screenshot) after another few minutes dwm.exe crashes. It happens with all drivers from 9.3 to latest 9.10(both normal and hotfix), with previous I don't have this problem but dwm uses a lot of cpu resources making windows almost impossible to work with it. Any advice will be appreciate

I have exactly same problem. Did you find a solution?
I'm sure it's not related to any spy/malware. What are your system specs?
My specs:
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2600+
MSI KT4V
Asus AH3650 AGP
Here's the crash details from event log:

Unfortunately, I still have this problem. I did format and even installed system on other hd but that nothing changed. It looks like driver side problem, perhaps caused by our motherboards or something.
At least I found someone who also has this problem ;)

Orphe, try to see if there's a bios and/or chipset drivers update for your motherboard.

Edit - Install this using the device manager and right clicking on the specific system devices. You want to try the CPU to AGP controller first (or any with yellow exclamation points.) If successful, install video card driver.

Right click on it. Update driver software. Browse. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse. Now find the correct (I dunno??, never used) .inf and double click it. Hit ok.

If you're completely lost with that, give a try running the setup.exe in Vista compatibility mode (but only as last resort.)

Here's bios.

I have tried it before and when installation is done blue screen appears. Perhaps beacause there are no drivers for vista/win7 and i had to use XP ones. Using setup.exe with Vista compatibility mode nothing change.
My bios is updated, maybe I should downgrade it?

RE: Radeon 3650 AGP not working in Windows 7:

Make sure that your security software such as antivirus etc are disabled when you go to install the drivers. Get the latest drivers from ATI directly. Uninstall any and all ATI drivers previously installed and then reboot your computer. Install using the latest drivers from ATI. You may not get your card correctly recognized in Device Manager, but you should get all the Aero goodies working. Game play might still suck.

Hello!
I have the same problem as the first guy - I can't use aero in Windows7, because I am unable to find the correct driver. My motherboard is an ASRock K7S8X R3.0, and I want to find a driver for my Ati Radeon HD3650. I checked the first guide, but I can't find this:
C:\ATI\Support\9-10_vista32_win7_32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu\Driver\Packages\Drivers\Display\W7_INF
I have a similar (newer) one:
G:\ATI\Support\10-02_legacy_vista32-64_dd_ccc\Packages\Drivers\Display\LH_INF\CL_95951.inf
But that doesn't work. Any idea what to do? In the Device Manager under the Videocards I see ATI Radeon HD3600 series with a little yellow exclamation mark. Right click -> Properties says:
Code 43: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems
Any idea, what to do?
Thanks in advance.

Did you let Win7 download the updates it needs on first install these often contain specific drivers to enable your graphics to work properly.

Otherwise look on manufacturer website for their package of Win7 updates for your pc/motherboard/graphics (if still supported) otherwise you have to try the Vista ones and pray they work!
