well I did a quick search and found a way to keep it running and minimizing to system tray.

Set the options to check for new mail and set an alarm. And then hit the minimize button at the top of the main page.

Is this a tip to keep it running in the system tray? because if it is, its not working for me... :'(

Not really, it just minimizes it to the Taskbar and it continues to check for new mail.

I did not install parental controls or messenger. Windows Live mail looks different of course, but no problems.

I've been getting the word on FaceBook not seeing any problems either. It went right on here and once all was set with the contacts had to look over the new emotions seen with this release.

I don't know if other people are/were having trouble installing this over the beta, but I was! I tried to install a number of times and got close~ 95% plus. Then it would tell me that it could not install one part so it did not install any. Finally I thought I would uninstall the beta and start over. The uninstall gave me the option to repair so I did that. It churned away for awhile and then told me to to restart. Them I tried again to install the new and it went right through to the end. Mission accomplished! So if you are running into this type of difficulty try the 'repair' option on uninstall.

Better yet, instead of repairing the beta and then installing the final version over the beta, just uninstall the beta and install the final version.

The reason I attempted the repair and was glad it succeeded was so that I wouldn't have to reset any preferences, passwords, settings, etc. That's why we do this update thing I suppose.

Does the Windows Live Movie Maker 2011 have no timeline again??? If so, its not for me. I think WLE is again going to install a lot of things I don't want to bog my system, so no thanks if that is the case.

When going to install you can opt for the custom options where you pick and choose rather then see everything go on all at once. The Movie Maker and other options besides Messenger and Mail are simply unchecked to avoid seeing them downloaded and installed during the initial setup.

Here I opt out of the Blog writer and Movie Maker to start with always going with the custom not full install option. You may want to take that route or simply removed the Movie Maker if you run into problems having it on.

Well in my experience, I did install the older version on Windows Live Movie Maker and Windows Live Photo Gallery a long time ago. It was a custom install, but if I remember correctly, all those apps are checked for installation by default. Even if I installed only those two, they came with smaller components like Windows Live Sign in Assistant and some other components that gets installed even if you choose to install just one of the WLE applications.

I found out that WL Photo Gallery is slow is populating image thumbnails than its Vista counterpart. The Windows Live Movie Maker at that time also didn't have a bloody timeline which is a big big big design flaw that their developers did. And now, judging by the screenshot, its looking like the 2011 WL Movie Maker still does not have a timeline.

Uninstalling WLE suite also leaves a lot of orphaned files and registry entries. That makes me wanna stay away from it at this point.

i did already and it does not show any funny symbol, I follwed a video en youtube.

opened character map, on "search for" i typed "narrow", selected first box an then copied... done.

Just downloaded it on my desktop and laptop and love it. I think the new Mesh app is one of the greatest things ever. Now I can keep all my files for school synced between both of my pc's. The remote feature is really great too for people who can't use Remote desktop connection. Before I was having to use a combination of Teamviewer and Dropbox to do this and didn't really like either one that much. Now Mesh does it all and works 1000000x better.

The new WL mail is nice too.

Someone was just asking me about all that. A few set up tips on how to get that going here would help!

Personally I don't use FB but had someone explain the automatic addition process and will list who is on at the moment at FB.

I wish I could get the WLM off the taskbar, and into the notification area so it didn't take up space...
