MS Office 2007 ServicePack 2 cumulative? Or SP1 required before?

Can I apply ServicePack 2 directly on a 2007-with-no-SP MS Office 2007 installation? In other words: is it cumulative?

Or do I have to install SP1 before applying SP2?

Yes I believe you can. It won't hurt anything to try it, you'll just be prompted to install sp1 first if it is needed.

As alphanumeric mentioned, give it a shot. What you will discover is that the SP2 includes the SP1. It was the same with Office 2003.

By the time I got around to installing Office 2007, my copy did not have the SP1 and when updates were downloaded the SP2 showed up sans a necessary SP1 update:
