Solved Ram leaks in games.Posable?

My "the witcher" and "Sacred 2" plays a while then exits two the desktop,i asked a guy at the game store and he said the game engin sucks and apparantly the ram "leaks" so it exits the game then...If this is at all wrong PLEASE advise me on why those 2 games do that.Oh and no error is given its just like it overheats but its not a heat problem.

Have you looked in event viewer to see if the error is logged there?

There are several ways to find what the problem is. The best is to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Go to the windows log>application tab.

You want to look for critical errors (they have red in the left column ).

When you find them you want to look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.

When you find them please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.

Let us know if you need help with any of this.

Allright,thats easy.Not near my rig now so will post over the weekend hear again if there is a error there,if not...well i will just post it anyway.So if you will just check around that time to advise on the error it will be great,thanx mate.

A ram leak is the failure of a program to return memory to the memory pool. There are several programming errors which can cause this.

One check is to use Resource Monitor to see if the program memory usage grows.

WIN | type RESMON | ENTER
WIN is the key with the wavy flag.

Ok,i wen't from 7 ultimate 32 to 64 bit,and for some reason the games play,no more exits,no more map fading in the game and so on.So i dont have a reason or a fix on the problem,only that 64 bit doesn't have the problem....Thanx 4 the replies

Ok,after a long while there was one error. error 41-"sudden loss of power,or unexpected shut down"
