Is there a(nother) tool for creating+listing+deleting SysRestPoints?

Ok, I know I can create System restore points in
Control Panel->System->System protection

But as far as I can remember under WinXP there were some additional, independent non-built-in tools which do these task more user friendly.

Are there any additional non-built-in tools for Win7 as well?

By non built in I assume you mean third party and there is a good one. Acronis Home 2010. Much more user friendly, flexible, and has a free trial.

Make yourself a "system image" backup BEFORE installing Acronis. You will need it if you decide you don't want to use Acronis. Acronis is not the easiest program to clean and purge from you computer.

For deleting them, it pretty much needs to be done through System Protection.

Why would you want to delete a Restore Point?

I guess to free up some HDD space if really needed at the expense of being to restore back to that date though.

I don't know yet if Win 7 suffers from the SR problems XP had but I found that keeping the number of SR points low (10 or less usually) seemed to make SR work better in XP. Probably just a perception thing.
