Hello and welcome suckerpunish now when you say you are clan installing 7 & 10 do you mean a dual boot or one or the other.

The other thing I would like to know is how are you preparing the drive before each install and what media are you using to install from??

As your specs are a little thin on the ground can you please follow this
    SYSTEM SPECS
Now before we can help we do need to know what is in your machine so please do this System Info - See Your System Specs - Windows 7 Help Forums
or either enter the specs of your system in your forum profile the specs will appear when we click on that little box bottom left of the post screen it is for me the preferable option as it is easy. As you may appreciate it is very hard when you don’t know what one is working with for example a diesel or petrol engine.

Sorry late reply mate have been at it in the garden all day.

Now personally I clean a driev before I install onto ti it as a format is just noit good enough for my liking and al lot of others too will agree.

Cleaning the drive takes no longer to do in fact I think sometime sit is quicker. That way there is not chance of remnants of the old install being left behind.

Also I usually don't even partition or format a drive when I clean install because the installation process will do that for you. Saves not only time but having to do that. But the choice is always the operators of course and if you wish to do that then by all means do so.

I have on occasion found that creating a a partition setup leaves me with two primary partitions an because am a bit OCD it annoys me to see the drive like that so if you would like to try what I do please follow this
Disk - Clean and Clean All with Diskpart Command - Windows 7 Help Forums - clean all tkaes far longer to do and well in my tiny mind has not that much advantage over just a clean and is usually used only when you are disposing of a hard drive to erase completely that disk.

Now I don't know where uu got the ISO from or how you are installing but see this
Clean Install Windows 7 - Windows 7 Help Forums I use the Microsoft Software Recovery option for the ISO simply because it requires the activation code/key that one has to download it so if for any reason someone is trying to download a copy and doesn't have that code then it will not download. This is NOT saying that you are trying to do something not quite right but I find it is a good way of making sure your code is genuine if there is any dispute from Microsoft and for those who but a key or copy where the seller is perhaps not really quite honest.

I did for example buy a copy of 10 from EBay recently for $10 full well knowing that this could not be right and in fact the seller sent me the old original code for the free upgrade from 7 to 10 and linked the Microsoft download centre in effect selling me a a pup. Needless to say I reported the seller to EBay got my money back and probably saved a few unsuspecting folks who would have trusted this scammer.

Let us know how you go.

Jack I am a but confused now because the specs are for Intel graphics using that CPU but without knowing what version it is as you say it not going to be easy to solve .

If the suckerpunish is using the Intel on that core then these are the drivers https://downloadcenter.intel.com/pro...-Graphics-4000 but as I said I am now confused because the Intel graphics doesn’t work off AMD stuff as far I am used to a little clarification is needed.

I suggest suckerpunish runs Speccy to find out just what is in that machine. Speccy - Free Download - Piriform < from piriform.

If it is Intel graphics (and I cannot see any other option) then there are few tips I have knocked up for using them .

Hi John and Jack, Hope I am not butting in, but I was reading about the Dell 3521 i5 that suckerpunish

has typed above, and apparently it can come with AMD Graphics.

I know the i5-3317U is for the Windows 10 pc under his specs.
