    Which monitor to choose : 24inch 60hz or 27inch 75hz for 1080p Gaming

Hello everyone , it has been a while since i posted anything here.

I have been using a 32 inch T.V as a PC monitor for years now. I am planning to buy a Monitor & my options are a 24 inch 60Hz Monitor or a 27 inch 75 Hz monitor.

My Graphics Card is Nvidia GTX 960 2gb. , i7 Processor & 16 GM Ram. I wonder if going from a 32 inch T.V to a 27 inch (75Hz) monitor will give me some performance boost.

Secondly , I am concerned weather i will see pixels sitting close to a 27 inch monitor , which i see a lot using my 32 inch TV (being used as a monitor)

I read somewhere that a 24 inch is a perfect choice since , you will see clear & sharp videos sitting close to it.And more gaming performance too perhaps , accordingly.

    Can anybody guide me.

    Hello fahadhum

The 60Hz and 75Hz refresh rate does not matter when considering performance. This refresh rate only affects/reduces "screen flicker".

The response time and screen resolution matter more when it comes to comparing performance of different monitors. A response time of better than 5 ms is good for gaming. Screen resolution of 1920x1080 or 2560 x 1440 is standard for those size monitors.
