Try uninstalling the device driver that has the exclamation mark on it in Device Manager - then reboot. Windows should recognize the device and reinstall the driver.
That did the trick. The pc saw the USB stick straight away. The only message i get that it is not able to install the driver. Trying to install the driver through the Device Manager ends up in the same error "This operation requires an interactive windows station" and Windows does not recognize it anymore....weird!

Well now i have 1 way to make it work although i find it strange that it is not able to install the driver.

    Great news Angl1NL.

I don't know why you got the "unable to install.." msg - might be due to previous attempts to install the driver. Windows has most of the drivers it needs, you just had to find a way to refresh it. I've found that letting Windows do the work is the best way.

Could you mark the thread as solved at the top of the thread if you're satisfied with the resolution? Thanks.
