Network adapter and USB ports not working

    If you are unable to locate the network folder on the cd, use device manager to browse to the cd. It should recurse through the all the folders till it finds the correct driver.

    network adapter not working


    Well I had a bit of luck. I bought another wireless adapter and was able to wifi my phone to the pc and I could get the internet. I re installed firefox and now can browse. I tried tethering my phone to the pc and it was working again, however the gigabyte cd still says setup.exe not working

    Your Explorer options is set to hide known extensions that is why you see devmgmt.msc as devmgmt.
    To hide known extensions is a good way to install a malware as you don't see the real extension of the file.

    Try to find a network adapter for Windows 7 x64 for your device. If you successfully find it, then to make it easier, download Advanced Driver Updater. This goes online to find the latest drivers for your version of Windows on your device.
