How do i open disk management on vista
How do i open disk management on vista
Sorry for delay machine is busy updating vista. Here is requested screeshot
If you can find someone that has a Windows 7 install disk that you can use, it doesn't have to be the exact same version, though it does have to be the same bit-rate (32-bit or 64-bit) you can use the info above to create an installer of your version and use the other 2 tutorials to do a clean install.
Just be advised the "Optimize" tutorial will over-write everything on the entire Hard Disk Drive (HDD) so make backups first of anything you don't want to lose.
Thank Bare Foot Kid for all the advice ill let you all know how i get on (tracking somebody down with an installation disk)
Looks like you ran the installer from Vista and installed to another partition which got deleted and is now Unallocated Space.
This time I would boot the Win7 installer and make sure you install to the C partition. You can format it first using Custom>Drive options, even repartition if you want, or just highlight C partition and click install.
Clean Install Windows 7
Cant thank you all enough for sharing your expertise. Back on W7 today, i copied an iso file to a dvd and booted it up perfectly. Also formatted the corrupted part of my hard drive. Couldnt have done it without you. Thanks again
