problem with word

    well it says windows 7 ultimate copyright 2009, so i guess that means its 2007? i can't open certain files and sometimes theres a problem with explorer, as i've stated a few times its something to do with the user accounts and permissions, but i'm not sure how to configure these.

    Hi phil 71,

    Just because you're running Windows 7 doesn't mean it's Word 2007. When you open Microsoft Word, there should be a splash screen showing that Word is loading. Please tell us if it says Word 2003 or 2007.

    thats the whole problem, i cant open word!.but anyway it is word 2007. i would be very grateful if there is anybody who can help me with pemissions as i need to fix this problem asap
