BT infinity is unlimited download well the 80/20Mb 1 is any way. There is only 1 fault I have with BT is that if for some reason your ip profile goes to pot you have a hell of a job to get it reset. My went a few weeks ago and boy oh boy did I have fun trying to get it reset, they would not take any notice of their own speed test results or samknows test I'm doing for them and just said I was in the speed range of 12/77Mb with my speed at 12.67Mb down and 18Mb up. In the end I put it all together and sent it all off to the CEO of BT by a large email less than an hour later had a call from his team saying how sorry they were and was I home that day as an OR Eng was being sent. Three hours after the email was sent I was back up to my normal speed. I email back saying thanks and the reply said I should have been in contact sooner with them. Lol

I made my Cable ISP hook me up with the plan they give new people for starting because when i switched to them they didnt have this deal of 19.99 a month for 30 mb speed in fact they gave me a 3 month deal for 29.99 and when the month that the deal was over they had a new one offering 6 months for 19.99 on that plan safe to say i complained and got 6 months for 19.99 regular price 52.97 :geek:

HOLY CRAP you guys are pushing the limits.

I'm having some wireless issues I need to work out. I average triple the speeds on my laptop, and quadruple them wired. I just need to invest in some cable.

Could the increase be due to a wired connection instead of wireless?

Wow, some of you guys have insane speeds, personally I use broadband cable and pay $29 a month.
My area also has fiber optic, Fios, but with the cost at $70 a month for 15/5 speeds it is not worth it.

I just threw my computer back together (got tired of staring at my netbook).
What a difference three 22" displays make :drool: (waiting for Antec to release their new case)

So after that I checked my speeds and that's where they are. The netbook is still at advertised speeds. I checked it through-out the day with little to no change. That's not to say tomorrow will be different.
