Not able to connect to internet via nokia pc suite...?

I use a dual boot xp and 7..both work ok ..i installled 7 few days ago..the problem is whenever i try to connect to the internet using nokia pc suite while using 7 its not possible...but to my suprise when i tried it in xp i got connected..! I even checked for errors in access point,firewall and av..and also added the pc suite as an exception in firewall..but still i am not able to connect to the net while using 7...i have installed xp on c drive and 7 on e drive..i am planning to remove xp and keep only 7...so please help me out..and tell me how to connect to the net in 7 using my phone...or what may be the cause for the disconnection..please... !

Have you got the latest version of PC Suite on W7? If not, try updating it.

I even tried it with ovi suite...but it didnt work...any other way..?

Fisrt I would suggest going into device manager (type device manager in search) locate your network and see if the driver is installed and working properly. If it isnt listed here or had a yellow triangle on it it isnt working. If it isnt working I would un-install the driver and let windows find one for you since that seemed to work the first time.

Hm, okay. Is it that when you connect your phone, the phone does not appear connected, or does it just not connect on the internet at all? If an error message ops up, can you please copy it?

oh....! no.....new problem...

when i connect to internet using my mobile...the below msg appears for every five minutes...! how to solve this problem....? the net works well but the msg keep on appearing every once in 5 mins..and i have to give "ask me later"...i even reinstalled the ovi suite and drivers but didnt help....:(

ovi suite/pc suite does not support the connected phone...
ovi suite/pc suite settings file is missing from phone ...
switch off the phone,switch on and try again...


i even tried that but didnt work...

I'm having trouble understanding. What has connecting to the internet on a mobile phone got to do with pc suite that is installed on the computer?? Or are you hooking up the phone to the computer as a modem?

i am trying connect my pc to the internet via my mobile using the pc suite installed in my pc....the thing is i get connected to the net but the above posted window keeps on appearing for every five mins...got it..?
