    True.

    Tell us if you still have problems that seem to have to do with the power supply. If you do though, maybe you got a faulty power supply, which is usually very unlikely.

    That is 99.9% unlikely because I get the same result with two different power supplies.

    It only happens when the 5750 is installed.

    A quick look at the system requirements for a 5750 shows that a 450 Watt or greater power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors is recommended. My guess is if your current power supply had a single +12v rail instead of 2 you would be OK. I don't think you have the correct power supply to handle that video card. I'd bet money on it.
