Hello. I had cleaned BetterSurf from my Win7x64 system some months ago, but having just run SpyBot S&D, I get the following results:
BetterSurf: [SBI $00D4CCBF] Class ID (Registry key, nothing done)
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{6E3C6B04-08FE-43BC-8E50-F90285024DEA}
BetterSurf: [SBI $0CB2BE42] Interface (Registry key, nothing done)

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{0113A098-06EA-4776-A011-D75590778F1E}
--- Spybot - Search & Destroy version: 1.6.2 (build: 20090126) ---
Spybot says these are "in use" and won't "fix" the problem. After giving it permission to run on reboot, the problem remains. I've read that MalwareBytes can deal with this, but would rather not install yet another program if not necessary. I find no trace of BetterSurf elsewhere on my system. Can I simply delete those registry entries?
Thanks for any advice, -Ron
