McAfee Security Scan Plus utility

When I installed Adobe Flash Player (update), McAfee Security Scan Plus utility was offered for me for free. It says that it only check the security of your PC etc without affecting your anti-virus software. I am using Microsoft Security Essential. Is it a good idea to install this software?

Here is a description of McAfee Security Scan Plus:

I don't know if it has any diagnostic value since it's clearly marketing McAfee security software products. You can easily look in the Windows Action Center to see the status of system security. My advice is to not install it even if you use McAfee security software.
