How to place theme under the Aero theme section

Hello,

I don't know if it is possible to do this but I would like to place the regional theme I added (multiple wallpapers - united states, japan, etc) in the Aero theme section and let the single wallpaper theme that I have downloaded from the microsoft website in the My theme section. Like this :

You need to put them in the correct location "C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT" and apply the registry settings. The one on My Digital Life is incorrect for build 7100 it may apply to older builds here is the correct entries for build 7100.

Note: that location is a hidden protected OS file

No other complex registry settings needed, just need the files in the correct location. As you can see it even works if you add custom ones such as the space theme i did in this pic. Here is the reg file i used for build 7100.

Thank you for the reply. I did get My Theme into the Aero Themes but it did not take along the background pictures. I download the coke theme, it goes to "My Theme" folder. I can put the theme into the Aero Themes but the background pictures do not go with it. Yup yup uses build 7100 which does not work with my build - 7600

I'm sorry Craft40, but I'm not sure of what you are wanting. Are you wanting to create your own themepack that includeds your background image? If so, then this may help. After creating your theme, save it as a themepack. When you run the themepack on any Windows 7 computer, it will install that theme completely.

Build 7100 will not work with this though.
