Hi Critical2809, welcome to 7F! :)

The error points to the Volume Shadow Service Copy Service being disabled.

Use this to get to Services: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2495-services-start-disable.html
Once in, scroll down alphabetically and look for Volume Shadow Copy, scroll a bit to the right and make sure it is not disabled, It should be Manual, but, not disabled.

Use the Tutorial to show how to set to manual.

The default settings can be found here: Black Viper's Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Service Configurations » Black Viper | www.blackviper.com

No restore points have been created on your computer's system.

Hello, Thank you very much for replying back to me but I did as you said to do. And know when I check System Restore it says " No restore points have been created on your computer's system drive. To crate a restore point open System Protection. What should do I know? Ty.

Since you have no restore points, you will not be able to roll back the computer to a time before your problems. You can create a new restore point by following the instructions at the following link, but they won't solve your problems.

Create a System Restore Point in Windows 7

The problems you describe could be caused by a variety of things. As a start, turn off the laptop and remove the battery for about 5 minutes, then replace it and use the AC adapter to complete a full charge. See it that helps.

Go back into Services look for and make sure - Microsoft software shadow copy provider - is also set to Manual.

That's two services that need to be set to Manual; Volume Shadow Copy, and Microsoft software shadow copy provider.

Then I'd like you to check on a setting, use this tutorial: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/81500-system-restore-enable-disable.html to see if you have system protection enabled.

After the green information box you'll see two examples of system restore enabled and disabled, which of the two does yours look like, enabled with normal buttons or disabled with the buttons greyed out?

In either case, do you have any drives listed in the Available Drives Box? At the very least, your Local Disk (C:) (System) has to be showing.

I need your reply before we go any further.
