Whatever partition manager you were using may be able to recover the partitions - from it's boot media.

If not, looks like you will have to reinstall

You might have a chance - it depends what stage it was at.

Rt click it > properties,Unblock,Apply,OK.

Unzip it.

Burn it to cd/dvd as an image ( not as data ). DO NOT FORMAT THE CD/DVD.

Win7 has an image burner built in - otherwise get imgburn or similar. SetupImgBurn_2.5.7.0.exe <- ImgBurn Downloads | Software - Digital Digest

Boot that cd/dvd on the sick machine.

When you get to the desktop, give it 30 secs to settle, then click the Partition Wizard icon.

Select partition recovery - do a quick scan of the whole drive.

When it has finished, it lists the partitions it has found.

tick ALL the partitions you want to keep, OK, Apply.

Wait, my computer is stuck on the boot manager, will i be able to do all this from there?

Not sure what you are saying.

Are you tying to boot the cd and it is sticking?

I assume you have another machine you can d/l that on and burn it to cd.

Then put the cd into the sick machine and boot it.

I was splitting the partition so I would have two 60gb partitions. But when I'm doing the partition recovery it detected a partition called boot and it says it's lost/deleted. What should I do?

Be patient. First tell me exactly what you did. You resized the 120GB partion to 60GB, so make it smaller? then you made a new empty partition sized 60GB?

Yea but I turned it off when it was resizing the 120gb

Yea but I turned it off when it was resizing the 120gb
So:

  • New 60GB empty partition hasn't been made. It had to shrink the other partition first. Empty partition can be made later of course. Not a problem now
  • You only worked on ONE partion and was shrinking (make it smaller). Normally takes less then a minute to complete. Unless there are many files in the space you want to reclaim as free to make room for new partition
  • Did you change the starting point of partition or end point?
so problem is only with ONE partition
Don't recover partion in Partition Wizard now!!
Go to the main screen. How many partitions do you see? Size, type.... etc. tell me or better... make a camshot and post
