I've recently formatted and re-installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit today . I was also using the same Windows 7 Ult 64-bit before this newly installed OS . My RAM is 6GB .
The first thing I do was install Latest Version Nvidia Driver 340.52 as I'm using GTX 670.
I didn't install any updates through Windows Update . And I open certain games , only some works , and some shows up error "0xc000007b". Every games were working fine before this newly installed Windows 7.
Then I proceed to install all updates through Windows Update as I though it will fix the problem , but ugh , it didn't .
I had searched the whole solutions on the internet , below is the example site that everyone fixed their problem by using the various methods provided .
0xc00007b ERROR FIX - Configuration - Windows 7
Unlucky , none of them worked for me.
I've already done the following but still no luck as mentioned above
:
- Installed all updates through Windows Update
- Installed .Net Framework
- Installed Visual C++ Redistribution x86(32-bit) & x64
- Re-installed the games many times
- Restarted many times
- Downloaded the 'dlls.rar' and copied 5 dlls to the System32 in Safe Mode.
- Run CHKDSK in cmd & restarted to repair files
After hours of searching for solution , I just realized that every programs that are located in 'Win32' folder will pop up this error.
(Examples : D:\Games\Goat Simulator\Binaries\Win32
D:\Games\Sanctum\Binaries\Win32 )
And I wondered maybe my 64-bit Windows 7 doesn't support 32-bit programs or am I missing some files for my windows's system ? :sarc:
But those programs located in 'Win32' folder were able to be opened before this freshly re-installed Windows 7 OS. I don't know why all the solutions on the internet doesn't work for me .
I hope anyone can help me .
