Ubuntu still refuses to acknowledge my wifi on my *BRAND NEW* laptop, and my Wireless-N network adapter on my desktop.there's nothing old or unique about my laptop. except for the memory and the HDD, everything in it came that way from the factory about 6 months agoRead my post above...that will explain it
Fedora also refuses the Adapter, though it works on my laptop.
So no, there is NOT A SINGLE OS that will do that perfectly, it is all about the drivers that the manufaturers have to make for Windows. And the major problem with Linux is that the hardware that does not already work does not have a driver. Companies RARELY make drivers for Linux becuase there is no money in it. All the drivers for Linux have been reverse compiled from already made drivers.
