The g3220 as I stated earlier is an extremely budget cpu its basically a rebrand ir a rebrand and just carries hazwell by name.. its max memory speed is 1333mhz.. that processor will be the weakest link in any pc..
so regardless of "the issue" which isnt an issue its just the limitations of budget components. cant have it all on a shoe string.
I meant to give your last post a little nod. That's pretty much what it boils down to.
Still, CPU max memory on a spec sheet is hardly ever the max memory spec in practice.. so this thread was about defining the exceptional issue, rather than giving a solution (as far as I can see, there is no solution without replacing the CPU). Unanswered questions can be more frustrating than the subject itself.
bootwong please remember we want to help other members not argue with them. We do not always agree with each other but we do it politely.
Our first goal is to help the original poster with their problem.
The second thing we try to do is learn.
Apologies if I gave the wrong impression. Helping the OP was why I posted in the first place... as he said.. he gave up on the thread after it turned into an argument (before I posted)
