I don't remember what I was doing with the computer (if anything) when it BSOD-ed last month, but this month I was capturing video from a PVR. Something not very stressful at all and something that's been done hundreds of times before. Attached are the dumps and, being a novice, I have no idea what they mean. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello Jeebus mate the dumps show almost certainly a hardware problem and given the AMD is quoted I would start with checking the temps on the CPU and give the machine general check over - dust and crud etc and look for any signs of the board getting hot or the caps looking bulged/swollen.

Personally I would be reseating everything from the CPU to the RAM sticks and GPU card cables etc etc

To check the temps use this Speccy - Free Download - Piriform and post back if you hav problems running that software try looking in the BIOS for the temps

@ axe0

(shocker) Seatools fails to run, hangs indefinitely on USB: Scanning for supported drives. chkdsk found no errors on any drive. Attached are pics from HDtune. The ones marked OSHDD are obviously the C drive with the OS on it. HDD02 has an end-to-end error. A week or two ago it was not seen by the computer (but seen in BIOS) I plugged it into a different power supply plug and it immediately started spinning and was recognized. Thanks.

I would suggest to backup the data from the ST2000DM hard drive and replace it a.s.a.p.

Yes agree with axe mate and if you want to this is a good way to get data from a drive dead or alive;)
BOOTABLE UBUNTU
Make a bootable Ubuntu disk Get Ubuntu | Download | Ubuntu
Set the BIOS to boot from the optical when the machine boots it will show you a screen with TRY or INSTALL > select TRY not INSTALL
When it is finished - it takes very little time you will get a screen like in the pic .
Open the drive you want > User and dig down until you get to the data / settings you may be able to copy / paste the material you want to an external source or other installed drive doing this.
I am not sure if it will but I have recovered tons of data etc using this method both on "dead" or just plain drives that you cannot get data from using Windows.

There is also Linux Mint to do this - I just find this a quick and very easyw way
