With all the hype and scare tactics that some try to use even if it is true there is not anything we can do about it, all we are is a speck of dust in the vast universe.

And all things being relative, that speck of dust could itself be a vast universe that contains particles of dust which themselves contain a universe.

Despite concrete evidence to the contrary though, we are specks.

Specks that have a front row seat to witness the apocalypse, because there is indeed bugger all we can do about it.


Whatever happens on 2012, I just hope I'm not on the toilet. Shit of a way to go...

I mean if I think about it, if people really did take this seriously, they would not make plans to the future... Like the USA Planning things past our 'Doom Day' If we really took that seriously we might as well say..

i know it's true. it's all true. the world will end in 2012. either dec or nov., or maybe this year, but later on before january. or maybe 2013. i have it from a reliable source as told to me by my sister's boyfriend's second cousin's hot giant pretzel vendor who heard it from a hot dog vendor who was outside the local secret CIA office and overheard someone posing as a bum on their front stoop, while smoking a cigarette that was obviously a hidden microphone, discussing it with himself loudly in what was apparently old mayan. he said the bum looked just like hillary clinton, so it must be true.

Actually, they did.

But just as with the predictions of Nostradamus, one could argue that its easy to put meaning into this particular prophecy after the fact.




But being so obsessed with time, most of the prediction are cosmic events and patterns.
Thats the part I find interesting.
Many of which we are just today learning to be accurate, and discovered ourselves. Yet they knew it then.

I don't take stock in ANY extra-Biblical prophesies, however I do find them interesting, because of how some of them mirror Biblical prophesies, yet in a distorted fashion. I don't know that 12-21-2012 has been mentioned by Nostradamus, but it is the date of the end of the Mayan calendar, which some believe is an omen of the end. The Bible says that NO ONE knows the day or hour of the end of this age, and that is good enough for me. However, it also says that we can know the "season" by a number of signs and prophesies. One of the foremost of those is the prophesy of the fig tree. The fig tree is a symbolic representation of Israel, and the fashion in which it is used, it says that some people living at the time of the reestablishment of Israel (1948), will still be alive when Christ returns, and this age ends. That was 63 years ago, so considering the lifespan of humans, the time is approaching near.
