Has anybody ever bought a hard drive that was exactly the same as the posted on the sticker? I never have. Example, a 500 gb drive never in my life time has ever showed on my computer exactly as 500 gb. Sorry if I'm missing something.

Turns out there is no 101GB-- it actually says MB. 101MB is only 1/10 of 1GB. Relatively, not much.

When you buy a drive for a tech to install (and you can actually do this yourself),
assuming the laptop has an access door directly to the HDD compartment. On my
ACER Extensa 5420 (which is a stock 160GB 2.5" HDD), I have to take the entire
bottom off to get to all of the components (minus the battery).
On a regular desktop, you can do the drive replacement yourself (power and SATA
cables, idiot proof).
If you have a tech install a component for you, always check your receipt against
the part installed to see if it's a match. Any tech worth their salt will have no
problems showing you the work BEFORE the cover goes back into place, and if
they object, I'd have serious considerations about return business.

That 101MB partition is created by Win 7 during install. It's where the boot files and other debug tools are located so I would not delete it.
You somehow got a 160GB drive instead of the 320GB it is supposed to be. I've never seen a mislabeled drive before. The manufacturer should make good on it.
