And yes Britton I am posting from the effected laptop actually
My Computer
- OS
- Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
Example, a 500 gb drive never in my life time has ever showed on my computer exactly as 500 gb. Sorry if I'm missing something.
160GB=160,000,000,000 bytes per HDD makers.
1073741824 real bytes per GB = 149.011 GB as Windows would report
The HDD may have a few hundred thousand bytes more or less.
Have you tried this approach yet?Yes you have an extra 101MB partiton there. It won't show up as part of your drive space since it is unallocated. If you have no intention of using it for, say storage or another OS, Try this tutorial: Partition or Volume-Extend
