Is this a retail copy of Win7 or is it one which is activated by the school's IT department? If it's a retail copy then with the Product Key you should have been given at purchase you can follow the steps in this link to Clean Install Windows 7. Be sure to boot the disk: How to Boot your Computer from a Bootable CD or DVD If it's an organization's Enterprise copy, consult your School on how to activate it. Ask back any questions you have as we will help you set it up so it runs perfectly.
