Sorry I know this question has been asked to death on forums but those solutions haven't worked for me.

Only 3 speakers work and 2 don't and out of the 3 which work do 2 have veryy low sound.
There isn't a problem with the non working two speakers as they work fine when I change connections. All speakers work if I chose 7.1 config.

In the 'Speaker test' Two speakers don't work which are Left and Right speakers.
The speakers don't have any distinguishing marks on them(i.e. all speakers look the same.)Only two have longer wires than the rest so I have connected them to the 'Rear port' in the Subwoofer. The 'Speaker Fill' option is also checked in the enhancements.I have also downloaded samples of 5.1 audio and it doesnt work.

I think the the problem lies somewhere in the settings of 'Realtek Audio Manager'.It has the 'side pair' greyed out.

Doublecheck the connections to the PC and make sure you have all three hooked up correctly. What you show is how mine shows (if I select 5.1).

Hello shashwatsuman. Welcome to the forum.

Try this:
(Referring to the audio connections on the back of the PC)

  • Plug the FRONT speakers into the GREEN Jack
  • Plug the REAR speakers into the BLACK jack
  • Plug the CENTER/SUBWOOFER speakers into the ORANGE jack
  • The GRAY jack is for 7.1 SIDE speakers. Don't use it.
Hope that does it!
