5 updates constantly reinstall

This problem have been lasting for about 1 month.

The update KB3037581, KB3097996, KB3098781, KB3074543, KB2750841 is constantly reinstalling everytime I shut down the computer. I check the updates in the Windows Update history and found that multiples KB3037581, KB3097996, KB3098781 show "succesful", while KB3074543, KB2750841 show "failed". And when I check for the installed updates, KB3097996, KB3074543, KB2750841 is not in the list.

I tried to solve the problem by looking up the internet, some say that my hard disk may be failing, so I ran a hard disk check (the sfc /scannow) and found nothing.

So what is causing this problem? Is there anyway to solve it?

Unless I needed one of those updates, I would uninstall every one of them, then Hide them in the Windows Update UI. (After uninstalling them, if you check for updates and get the list, find these, highlight them, right-click and choose HIDE. Note: If the KB is updated in the future, it will appear again, but perhaps it will be fixed so it doesn't give you problems. IAC I would make a note of these KB numbers for future ref.)

Btw it's hard sometimes to spot those KBs in the list of installed updates. To dbl-ck, open cmd.exe ->Run As Admin -> type WMIC QFE | FIND "KBXXXXXX" where the X's are replaced with the KB number. (Small case is ok, but include the quotes.) Wait while Windows checks for the KB. If it is installed the install date will come up, then the prompt reappears. If it is not installed the prompt reappears without any info. Make a note of the install dates, then type EXIT to quit the window.

Now go back to the installation window and right-click on the "Name" toolbar to get a popup... and uncheck everything but "date" so you can see when the KBs were installed. (Otherwise the date column is usually way off to the right and you have to scroll right to see it.) With the KBs organized by date installed, it's much easier to find the one you are looking for.

Then to uninstall, just right-click on the update and choose uninstall.
