hi, thanks for that info!!!....now. why???? it seems unreasonable that i will lose uo tp 4 gigs or more of disk space each time i burn a small dvd. the last time i went looking and stopped at the User/appsdata/temp...folder and found copies of the dvd projects in there, almost 3 gigs worth!!! but after deleting those still did not recover all of my disk space!!!???? I have changed the the temp folder option in the dvd burner software to a place where i know i can keep tract of them.( i dont like an os that stashes things on me)I did not ask the program to save the project for me??? should not the app clean up after its own Darn self!!...at this rate my 360gb drive will be gone by next week!!!.....so i found 3 or more gigs in the appdata temp folder, now your info tells me to look in the burn/burn folders which is great! beacause i knew the system owed me 2 more gigs:sarc: if i dont get this under my control I will have to abandon this app.......please help. I like this os........clean-up should be automatic.....no???.......also I could grow old and retire while the encoding is being performed is that normal???

Regarding figuring out what's taking up space try a free program called Space Sniffer. It creates a graphic map that makes it easy see how the space is being used. Look here:

SpaceSniffer, find lost disk space the easy way.
