I'm still using Windows 7 I can't get my new Logitech C930E webcam to work. I believe it's not compatible with the Windows 7, on the website the small window pops up asking for permission to allow access to the camera I click on it and less two seconds it automatically closes on the site and crashes and disappears to the desktop every time I try.
After I installed it , it says it installed successfully and is working properly. in the device manager it shows it installed fine and indicates it working. maybe there's a way or another way to get it to recognize it or to enable it or perhaps I'm missing one of those monthly KB update files I need to find and get downloaded.
I also tried another new web camera I just bought and installed the Nexigo N60 and says it installed well and works fine. It does the exact same thing and crashes to the desktop as soon as I allow to have access to the camera on the site.
Do I have another web camera that's not compatible with the windows 7? Nexigo say it supports it.

Looking at the specs they should both work on Windows 7, so it is likely something other than the Operating System. Have you tried a different browser, or checked the permission settings in your browser. Also worth trying the generic drivers, just in case there is some conflict with the manufacturers ones assuming they are the ones you have installed. Just uninstall the device and it's driver, and let Windows reinstall it on a cold reboot. Just a few things you can try to start with. Another issue might be the USB Port you are using, so again try a different one. Pete

I'n the device manager is shows and its working properly. but every time i click on the window that pops up to allow access to the camera it comes on for like 1 second and then disappears along with the site I'm using it with. it just goes to the desktop.
I went to the geek quad for some advise and help. they didn't tell me anything good. was a waste of time seeing them.
