As usual, there seems to be a lot of 'guesswork' about RTM, yadda, yadda....
No-one know if this is RTM, but who cares? Just enjoy the software people.
I've been using 7600 for the past 3 days, and this is easily the best build so far.
A good RTM 'candidate'? Definitely!! Quick, rock solid, and they fixed 'Restore previous folders at logon'.
I've activated using the 'dubious' activation method, but backed up the 2 essential files, just in case.
We could talk about build numbers, RTM branches etc, until the cows come home (as is every other forum).
No one knows, and I for one, don't give a s**t!!!
Everyone seems to be an expert on this. It pisses me off a bit, when a person finds out a bit of new info or asks a 'noob' question. All of a sudden the 'experts' scream 'fake' or flame the poster. The only way to be become an 'expert' IS to ask questions. I wish that a lot of the others would realise that and keep their acid comments to a minimum.
'Experts' don't run endless virus scans, hash checks or continually back up their 'precious' data. My 'precious' data is nowhere near my PC's hard drive.
Software crashes and corrupts (Rule number 1).
I've worked in application development for over 20 years, and it seems to be a real problem with the IT industry, as a whole. It seems to be full of half truths, buzzwords or outright bull****! (and bull****ters!!!)
Until this 'psuedo' RTM is truly RTM (ie- 'On the shelves') we will never know....
I'm using this OS and it works well... Simple as that.
