7MC and Sky Player

Have you looked at changing the 'System Locale' to match your regional settings?

This 1 setting alone is what can initiate 7MC to download new data including Sky Player.

Is open dns better than google?
Out of interest is there just a set of numbers to enter like we've done with google or do you have do something a bit more complicated, i looked at open dns but had to register etc and i wasn't sure what i was doing

Phil,
With Open Dns you can use it in 2 different ways. Just set your PC up or Your router up using Open DNS.
I suppose you can do it with google as but and not tried it. I've just tried both ways with OpenDns and both ways work.
Both Google and Open dns are a lot faster for me than the O2 dns

I did think about using Open dns but like i said i thought there was some long winded thing you had to do like register and do all sorts.
A quick google answered my question

'The OpenDNS server addresses are: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. You can use these numbers without setting up an account at OpenDNS.com, but if you create a free account there, you have access to instructions, a knowledge base and support help.'

Were they what you used?

Yep they are the 1's. I've got an account with Open Dns which i was using before my BB switch as i had been with Sky like for ever, when I changed I tho I better use O2 as per their T & C and as I've only been with O2 for 10 months
