8 GB of RAM only able to use 6GB on 64-bit

Hi all. I seem to ohave a problem with my ram I installed 8 gb of Corsair dominator gt ram running at 1866 mhz, now, when I go to my resource monitor this is what I get

Available: 6211mb
Cached: 6100mb
Total: 8183
Installed: 8192

My question is, why do I only have essentially 6 gb of ram available if I have a total of 8192 installed.
These are my Specs:
Intel core i7 965 Extreme
Corsair Dominator 8 GB 1866mhz
ATI Asus 5870
Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit

any help will be really appreciated, this is what I have tried so far in my bios it does read that I have 8 GB installed and I have unchecked the maximum memory capacity on msconfig

It could be video card using mem, page file, cache for an app like photoshop, etc.

If it says 1892 installed that is all you should worry abt

It says "Installed 8192". He has 6211 available and I'm guessing 1700 used (or there abouts) which is his 8GB

Oh, alright I get it, yea I have 1888 MB in use, and thats why it only shows 6211 available, well that makes sense.
