You are doing OKI would like you to go through this tutorial; http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/165554-usb-driver-general-fix-problems.html?filter[2]=Hardware%20and%20Drivers Not that you have a USB problem, but because it should help you get to a point where no driver is automatically installed by windows and we can then concentrate on installing the signed driver.
The Netgear driver looks to be installed OK. Do you get a driver signature warning at every boot?
Driver signature warning comes up every time I attempt to reinstall any of Netgear's drivers. If I don't attempt that I can attempt to connect to the internet but it won't allow me due to a Driver problem.
I followed the tutorial and now the adapter's drivers aren't installing successfully. Is this meant to happen and if so, what do we do next?
Edit: Installed the downloaded driver as requested.
As a summary of this entire problem, follow Pooch's wonderful USB driver tutorial and make sure you can find the appropriate drivers through the manufacturer/publisher.
