A Preferred Method of Uploading/Posting Screen Shots

Not taken as rude. I agree that it is better than posting a full size pic in the forum. I'd much rather have a couple extra clicks.

You're not rude but that's exactly why the site has it's own uploading/resize feature. It doesn't make huge screenshots. But people don't bother to use it. I mean have you even tried it?

I much prefer it when people upload using the paperclip, if I want to see your pic it diverts to image shack and take 3 times as long to show the thumb nail and then you click on it again and it takes just as long to open again in a new window and then I have to close 2 windows again to get back to where I started, IMO a big PITA and I generally won't even bother waiting for them to load now and just close them if I get diverted to image shack.

Yes. I find it limiting... in several ways.
The biggest way is I can only use it here, whereas I post an image on my imageshack and I can use it anywhere.

Surely the majority if not all pictures that you want to show on this forum would not be relevant anywhere else.

So far with the exception of 3 single thread specific images, Ive just reposted images I already had uploaded to imageshack, and that was in a thread I asked for help in, which is extremely rare so I doubt the 3 will be added to anytime soon.

Because it's better quality, and you can have transparent backgrounds with png's.

But its not simple and convenient for everyone, i for one miss this site out when doing my rounds and posting the same topics on various sites as i would have to reformat my post JUST for this site AND upload the image/s for a second time.

Why on earth the resize feature on external images is not built into this forum script is beyond me...

This is merely a preferred method, one which I agree with, but you're not bound to it. Personal preference overpowers here.

I've got another negative for 3rd Parties. Don't they all have bandwidth limits. Cause some 3rd Party shots I've seen have either been: Moved/Deleted/Exceeded Bandwidth,

Yes, that is true - hence why some boards also block linking to third party galleries in the first place - it means their server software is having to fetch those links every time someone views the post. Another problem also arising from externally linked files is that it can slow down responses here as well, if the end user has to wait for the third party to finishing sending all the data.
