I installed the free version of Zone Alarm that requires ZA be made the default search engine. Also ZA search engine is poping up on the new tab opening. I have already checked "browser.newtab.url" in "about:config" and it is set to "about:blank". How and why is ZA search engine coming up when I open a new tab?

- The gateway laptop model MD2614U died because a voltage regulator on the motherboard went poof. The Gateway laptop has been scraped.
