I'm running a 24/7 stream (Using OBS) and I'd love to find a way to be notified (email or txt would be ideal) if the program crashes...this way I could get to the pc asap to restart the stream.

Suggestions?

Hello

When anything happens in your computer's system, it gets logged as an Event Log. For example, when an application crashes, it gets logged as Event Id 1001.

If you want to view such log events, you can do so via a built in program called Event Viewer. Using Event Viewer in a manual way can oversee what is happening in the computer.

If you want to automate what you are seeing, say, by sending an e-mail when particular event occur, then I believe you can set up an Email Alert from within the Event Viewer program.
