about these two exe files

when i try to install WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86
it gives me the following error
set up error Not enough storage is available to process this command
after clicking ok i get this message

installation did not complete
But when i tried avast exe file for installation then it got installed.
what is the problem.if windows installer service is not working properly then why one exe file did not and one got installed.
Also do someone know what is this error

MSI Error code|:1601
any help would be highly appreciated.

Sounds like you don't have enough free space on your hard drive.

on my C drive,i have 20 GB of free space available out of 39.9GB.on win7 32 bit/toshiba laptop.

In Windows Operating System Windows Installer is a built-in feature. There is no need to install the WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe.

default windows installer was not working properly.that.s why the need for WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe arose.

If you have a 40 GB hard drive, I suggest that you first get a bigger hard drive - at least 240 GB. Transfer everything to the new drive, install the new drive, remove the old drive, and reboot. Now try the install again.

A 40 GB drive is just barely big enough for Windows 7. In fact, I'm surprised that you are able to work without any problems with such a small hard drive.

If you are going to get a bigger hard drive, I suggest that you get as big of a drive as you can afford -- between 240 GB and 2 TB. Either that, or get an SSD to speed things up. Since an SSD is more expensive than a mechanical hard drive, somewhere between 240 GB and 500 GB would be a good size for an SSD.

On d drive i have 36.3 GB of total space
on E drive i have 36.3 GB of total space.
I will update my system in the future.
But now i just want to make my computer error free with the help
of friends.

It may take a while to complete, when it does post logs please. CheckSUR is a temporary log in its initial location.

Your friend is telling you to get a bigger hard drive. A drive that small can cause Windows to have problems.
